Santa Cruz de Tenerife, July 2014 -. Fuentealta (www.fuentealta.es ), a company owned by Grupo CIO (www.cio-company.com), has filmed an impressive documentary about the last 24 hours before the opening of popular flower carpets of La Orotava with the celebration of Corpus Christi in 2014 in collaboration with the Association of Alfombristas Villa de La Orotava.

During the last few hours of preparation of this work of art with years of tradition, the documentary narrates in the words of some of the characters, how each piece is made, its meticulous process of design and construction and the solemn procession which opens this festival which immerses La Orotava in emotion, religious ceremonies and tradition, and the brand accompanied them from the outset in an impeccable work done by Kikazaru Productions.

Through the signing of this agreement with the Association of Alfombristas of La Orotava, Fuentealta once again highlights its commitment to promote the values and culture of The Canary Islands, which justifies the final message of the video which talks about the vision of the Grupo CIO of supporting the most deeply rooted traditions of our land.

In the words of José María Cortés, "to have the opportunity to collaborate with the Carpets of La Orotava is an honour for us, because it is one of the most important popular cultural manifestations of the Canaries, which have been running since the mid-nineteenth century”.
